How I Taught Maths

In my role as Maths CPD Lead at Complete Mathematics (between 2021 and 2023), I developed the Teaching Together podcast. Every Thursday morning we'd drop a new podcast, looking in depth at the teaching of a particular objective from the Complete Mathematics curriculum. We created resources for teachers to use, and myself and a fellow member of the maths team (or a guest) would discuss teaching using these resources.

I liked recording it and I liked planning the lessons, so in the latter part of 2023 I decided that I would rekindle the idea and decided to launch 'How I Taught Maths (with Dave Taylor)' in the New Year. Where Teaching Together was discussed in hypotheticals, HITM differs as an opportunity to reflect on a lesson that I've taught recently and share my thoughts and resources with the wider mathematics community.

As I began a new role, outside of the classroom, I decided that ending the podcast would be the for the best. Even though the content is limited, I hope you enjoy it.
